The Cookeville Performing Arts Center opens its 34th Backstage Series with Jonathan Troy's suspenseful comedy. Performances are at 7 PM on August 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, and 22, with 2 PM matinees August 15 and 16. Tickets are $15.
Tennessee Tech and Cookeville welcome students and the community with a free WestSide block party from 2 to 7 PM, followed by live music. Altitude Band and Dawson Anderson lead into a free 8 PM headlining concert by country star Dustin Lynch. The event ends at 10 PM.
